The owner of a defunct Virginia Beach nightclub who has ties to the rap stars Clipse has been charged in U.S. District Court with leading a $10 million drug ring.

An unnamed police officer also is listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 60-page indictment.

Federal authorities say the six-year drug operation was based at the former club Encore Lounge and led by the club's owner, Anthony Gonzalez.

The indictment says Gonzalez bought the club at 1889 Virginia Beach Blvd. in November 2007 from an unidentified co-conspirator for 40 pounds of marijuana and about $80,000 in drug proceeds. The club closed earlier this year after more than 100 incidents of violence, shootings, drug dealing and disorderly conduct.

The 82-count indictment charges Gonzalez, 34, of Chesapeake and six others in a drug conspiracy that stretches from Hampton Roads across the country to South America and back. Police and federal agents were still searching for Gonzalez, also known as Geezy, as of late Monday.

In Southern California where a billboard advertising the new Audi A4 has apparently been up for months. The ad throws down a gauntlet at the feet of BMW with an image of the new A4 and the statement, "Your move, BMW." Whether by design or by happenstance, the Munich-based brand recently made its move, hoisting up a billboard across the street that displays the high-performance M3 and the word "Checkmate." Ouch. We're sure Audi will have more to say when the RS4/5 arrives sometime in the near future, but for now, BMW appears to have the final word in this billboard chess match.

The all-black shirt features the full lyrics of Common's 1994 classic "I Used to Love H.E.R." written in 80s computer font.

In addition, the acclaimed Chicago emcee has designed three other shirts showcasing throwback styles in phrasing, dress, and social courtesy.

As the line's official spokesman, Common explained that the fledgling brand is "very fly and progressive," and he expects it to garner a solid audience once more shirts are introduced.

"I'm very enthused about it," Common stated. "No matter what size, it's gonna look right on you…Stay up and check out the Softwear."

Now the "I Used To Love H.E.R" & maybe the "Be" shirt might get copped off of the strength of being a fan, but I don't see this going very far.....

Rapper Kid Cudi has been involved in an altercation that has resulted in the Cleveland native being tasered and apprehended by authorities, according to multiple sources.

Detail are sketchy, but the rapper apparently was involved in a fight or altercation while at the Reebok party in Phoenix, Arizona. Much of the music industry is in the city celebrating the NBA’s popular All-Star weekend.

Eyewitnesses stated that Kid Cudi physically and verbally confronted a pair of Reebok employees. The artist was booked by the apparel company to perform at the venue.

Sources said that Cudi wanted to wear Jordan sneakers on stage, a move that did not agree with the people of Reebok.

Authorities intervened after the confrontation escalated and Cudi was tasered, a move to control his behavior.

The rapper was presumed arrested by police, but actual charges have not been revealed.

A representative for Kid Cudi was not available at press time.

Allen Iverson, a Reebok endorsed athlete, attended the party.
